Wedding Photography

Minterne Gardens is renowned for its spectacular displays of Rhododendrons, Magnolias and Azaleas and is a perfect location for your wedding day photos.

In mid-Spring the gardens are at their peak and full of vibrant colour; daffodils line the front drive, the cherry blossom avenue is in bloom, while bluebells appear in the wild woodland garden. Summer brings an abundance of water lilies in the small lakes, followed by striking autumn colours from over 200 maples.

Whether you are planning a Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter wedding, the backdrop of Minterne’s hidden gardens offer an opportunity for stunning photos. Bridges, streams and cascades add to a romantic element to your day, with more formal photo shots in Minterne House for that unforgettable occasion.

Please note for Civil Ceremony only bookings that the time allocated for photos at Minterne is 30 minutes following the ceremony.
