The 1600 acres of parkland and woodland that comprise the Minterne estate are ideally suited to a wide range of outdoor country pursuits. Apart from a host of opportunities for team-building events, the estate has excellent facilities for clay and game shooting, stalking, four-wheel drive and many other activities. Within 10 minutes of the estate there is an international Go-cart track and numerous equestrian activities. A large historical collection of ancestral artefacts relating to the Churchill and Digby families is held within the house. Tours can be arranged of both house and gardens with the present Lord Digby, providing a fascinating insight into the 1000 year history of these influential families. |
